How does the Cycle to Work Scheme work?

Whether you’re an employer or employee, getting a tax-free bike with us as part of the government scheme is simple. From mountain bikes to road bikes, we’ll help find the right one for you. Step one

Your employer is onboard!

Once an employer has come onboard with Cycle Solutions, we take care of everything. From administrative tasks right through to boosting awareness of the scheme within an organisation, we are here to ensure the process runs smoothly.

Step two

You choose your perfect package

Once an employee has chosen their perfect bike and accessory package via their unique Cycle Solutions shop, we put together the salary sacrifice cycle to work agreements for both the employee and employer. Then, your Cycle Solutions scheme admin will receive email notification enabling them to approve any orders with a one-click process, minimising your scheme management.

Step three

Arrange delivery

Once approved, our team will contact your employee to arrange delivery, and we will then invoice in arrears for the goods. At the end of the hire period, we will manage the end of scheme process of ownership with your employee, ensuring complete compliance with HMRC guidelines.
