If so, we may have the perfect role for you!
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Goods In/ Warehouse Operative to become an integral part of our busy Cycle Solutions Warehouse. Joining the existing, experienced, warehouse team, you will be central to receiving and dispatching Goods for the business, ensuring that all relevant products are updated and processed accordingly.
WHAT’S THE ROLE? Goods In/ Warehouse Operative
Knowledge of Goods In and receiving processes.
Responsible for the overall receiving and checking of all items/goods into the warehouse
Reporting Non received and Required adjustments
Creating SKU labels and Bay locations
Ensuring products are correctly assigned and represented
Product Picking
Ensuring all orders are accurate and complete
Reduce product damage and wastage
Unpacking products and sorting items into the correct categories
Contribute to Stocktake activities and adhoc location cleansing
Logistics and physical arrangements of product movements
A DEEPER DIVE
Assisting and processing all products received, checking for damage/ faults, labelling products and bay allocation as required.
General physical activities of the warehouse.
Effective liaison, support, and assistance with all areas of warehouse and related departments, including Warranty and Aftersales.
Assist in maintaining and improving systems for effective receiving process, including surveying, and measuring the inventory of Goods In and current stock locations, actioning transfers, reporting adjustments and clearing damaged/ unwanted items via appropriate departments.
Contribute towards Cycle Solutions’ ongoing development and improvement of the warehouse, product inventory and returns/ stock control.
Carry out planned tasks in accordance with requirements and within time limits.
Achieve agreed personal targets and assist Line Managers to achieve team targets.
Ensure compliance with codes of practice, procedures and legislations including Health and safety and GDPR
Qualifications and Skills
Desirable experience of Goods In and Receiving processes (Including PO, Transfer and Adjustments).
Desirable experience in returns/ stock management or warehouse skills.
Essential full driving Licence
Understanding of a Stock Management System.
Good standard of IT / Data entry skills.
Excellent organisational skills, resourcefulness, planning skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently but also as part of a bustling team.
Understanding and Knowledge of Cycling Brands and Apparel will be a real bonus.
You’ll be given training on the existing processes to organise and receive items on to our system, along with guidance on bay allocation and organisation from our Warehouse Managers. More than anything we’re looking for a good fit for our team and someone with the right attitude to take on this newly-formed role.
Starting Salary from £19,760.00 per year
